Shopping in Oxford
Queen Street, Cornmarket Street and Westgate Shopping Centre which has been extensively remodelled and reopened in Autumn 2017, offer the majority of Oxford’s main chain retailers. Sprawling from the centre are a labyrinth of streets and walkways featuring a plethora of quirky boutiques, antique stalls and markets. Oxford’s covered market offers a further layer of shopping delights where traditional meets the extra-ordianary. Beyond the centre, shopping in Oxford spans from Summertown and Jericho in the north to Cowley Road and shopping centres in the east and south.
Westgate Shopping Centre
After several years of planning and redevelopment, Oxford’s premiere shopping centre has re-opened to delighted shoppers and retailers. With some of the largest retail brands making Westgate Shopping Centre their new home, shopping in Oxford is now better than ever.
Westgate has a car park for shoppers, but with limited space available we recommend using one of Oxford’s 5 Park & Ride facilities. They’re easy to use – you simply park your car and jump on a a bus into the City Centre. Buses stop just outside the Westgate Shopping Centre, so you won’t have to walk far.
