On 2nd February 2024, the Witney Corn Exchange are hosting an enchanting evening of jazz as they proudly present Tim Whitehead in Concert. Doors open at 19:30, with the performance commencing at 20:00. Tim Whitehead’s musical journey began as a gifted classical clarinettist in his youth. While pursuing a law degree at university, his passion for music, especially jazz, beckoned irresistibly. He made the bold choice to follow his musical calling, and it has led him to remarkable heights.

Tim has graced stages across the USA alongside the renowned American pianist Phil de Greg. He was an integral part of the ground-breaking ’80s jazz ensemble ‘Loose Tubes,’ and in 2009, he received an esteemed nomination as Artist In Residence at Tate Britain. These are just a few of the highlights from his illustrious career.

The Corn Exchange are thrilled to have Tim Whitehead perform at Witney Jazz, accompanied by a hand-picked ensemble of exceptional musicians. Joining him on stage are the talented pianist Jonathan Taylor, the skilled bassist Paul Jefferies, and the dynamic drummer Alex Goodyear.
