ABOUT

ON THE MENU

Full on feast? Or nibbly bite. Our bar snacks and picky-bits are perfect with an ice-cold Thums Up Sazerac. Local brews and special collabs are made to complement Chaats, Snacks, Savouries, Curries. Indulge in Dishoom faves like Chicken Ruby and House Black Daal. A Feni Martini or Sober Negroni if you’ve still room. And for the morning after the night before, a Bacon Naan Roll and strong cup of coffee, made by our friends NewGround just down the road. Ethically sourced, deeply bracing.

BOOKINGS

Permit Room Oxford is mostly for walk-ins — but some tables are kept for reservations. For big parties, it’s best to book in advance (you might be spread across some close-together tables in one happy-go-lucky section). After the kitchen has closed, come for a late-night snack and drink (walk-in or book).

VINYL NIGHTS

We’re kicking back like Bombayites in the ‘70s – where there was revelry, there was music. Every Thursday, local DJs are on the decks, spinning dance-floor filling Indian and Western grooves. A real mix – just how we like it. Savour the sounds with drinking food. Cocktails too.
