Oxford Shopmobility
Oxpens Car Park, Oxpens Road, Oxford, OX1 1SA.
A scheme funded by the City Council for borrowing a self propelled or battery operated wheelchair or scooter to travel in the City Centre. Booking is required but there is no charge, offering loan of wheelchairs and electric scooters to people who need them for shopping and sightseeing in the City centre. Please bring identification on your first visit. Free parking (25 spaces) for users of the scheme. Telephone 01865 252489 for details.

Saturday and Sunday – 9.30am to 5pm

All accessible toilets are accessed by RADAR key. RADAR keys can be bought or loaned from the Oxford Information Centre

Parking
- Park and Ride – Places available adjacent to bus stops. All Park & Ride buses have the wheelchair accessible ‘kneeling step’ with fold-down ramp.
- Westgate Multi-Storey – Places available on level 4 adjacent to the shopping level
- On-Street – Special bays are marked – there are 90 Disabled Parking Bays throughout the city
Disabled persons showing both parts of the Blue Badge may park for free in any of the on-street parking spaces, but standard charges will apply in the off-street car parks. Refer to the Blue Badge Scheme booklet for information on parking restrictions in loading bays.
Railway station accessibility
The Railway Station is fully accessible. Disabled persons visiting the station have accessible toilets and lifts. Buses and tour buses stop immediately outside the station, most of which are accessible, and a taxi rank is located immediately outside.
