The University bus for everyone

The BROOKESbus is a network provided through a partnership between Oxford Brookes University and Oxford Bus Company and links all the main University sites, including Halls of Residence.

BROOKESbus is available for everyone, not just Oxford Brookes University students. The U1 bus runs between Wheatley in the east and Harcourt Hill in the west via Headington and the City Centre. It stops on the main road just outside the main Thornhill and Seacourt Park and rides and will stop at the Headington, Wheatley and Harcourt campuses as well as Oxford city centre. Journey times from the Park and rides to the Headington Campus take around 20 minutes. The U5 bus picks up in Cowley and Marston.

The Key – a smarter way to travel

The Key is a rechargeable travel smartcard that can save you time, money and hassle on all Oxford Bus Company services. You can make big savings on daily or occasional travel throughout Oxford and can top-up online or in person at one of Oxford Bus Company’s Travel Shops, located at Gloucester Green and on the High Street. As well as the benefit of not needing to use cash on bus services like the BROOKESbus, you’ll get access to key benefits that are available in Restaurants, Shops, Attractions and Theatres across Oxford.
