ABOUT
The Royal Oak sits proudly at the heart of the small, picturesque village of Ramsden in West Oxfordshire where it has served as a coaching inn and public house for almost 250 years.
Since the late 1980s the previous owners built a reputation for excellent food and wine which has been enjoyed by locals and visitors alike.
Now in 2020 and with a new team at the helm, the Royal Oak is penning its latest chapter. Sympathetic to its history and to its story, the Grade II listed building has been restored and refreshed throughout whilst retaining the essence of a traditional, local village pub. With our bright, spacious dining area, snugs for more intimate gatherings, and extensive outside space, there really is a spot for everyone.
With the appointment of Head Chef Rob Marshall and under the helm of Manager Luke Howell and his team, the pub focuses on producing the finest food, wine, ale and service in the most charming of settings.
